​@ArizonaKC Reminds me of my time in Nevada - yes, I flew from the UK to the US just to photograph cacti😂 also loved seeing the pre-historic art, really annoys me when British people say America has no history...of course you do, it's just not in old buildings, it's on the land itself

@ if you ever return please let me know and I’ll show you around southern Arizona! Since I live in the midst of all the cacti I forget how amazing it really is. Saguaros only grow in the desert southwest and I have many growing in my very own yard.

Looks as if the area is in much need of rain 🌧️. Just been watching the weather forecast on the television to see what the weather has in store for the UK next week - heavy rain and snow with strong winds for the north of Scotland and some areas of England. The weather is always a talking point and conversation starter for us Brits, hahaha 🤣, as you will probably know. Another year has flown by so quickly and another soon to begin .. wishing you a happy New Year .. 2025. ❤️

Hello, friend! The weather is a conversation starter here, too. However we are generally complaining about how hot it is. Lol. I wish we could get some rain. I’m always nostalgic for snow at this time of year. I may need to visit the UK in the winter sometime. I hope you have a very Happy New Year!

That was fascinating, KC. The spirals etc were intriguing for sure. I have stated before about my love for the Saguaros. To see them in this was a treat. And, that u are able to share some adventures with ur parents is a blessing. None of my business, yet will ask (not expecting an answer) how many years have ur parents been on this earth? I would love to be able to share adventures with mine. They each passed at an early age. Mother 54 & Daddy 64. Too soon. Thank u for sharing another fun time. 🤩❣

My parents are 74 and 78. It’s getting harder for them to drive out here as it’s a 23 hour commute. They break it up into two days. (They refuse to fly). I feel very fortunate that they stay with me each winter. I’m being proactive in having my son build that guesthouse as it’s for them whenever they decide they would like to use it permanently. Of course they would also be welcome to live in my home, too. They have options. But the guesthouse would allow them their own personal space away from all of my commotion. Lol. I am very fortunate to be able to spend time with them, especially at my age. I love having them around.
