I too did this stunningly beautiful hike to see the larches because I wanted to see it for myself. Sadly the trail is experiencing trailbraiding and the creek crossings are being trampled by the hoards of people. I hiked it as an out and back and on the way back the creek looked like it had been driven through by ATVs. Unless Alberta Parks constructs an actual trail I won't be returning to hike this one.
