Description: The Powwow Trail is a 'loop on a stick' trail of approximately 30 miles. The 'stick' is a 2.7-mile out and back to the 'loop' section of the trail from the trailhead. The Trailhead is BWCA Entry Point #86.
This video starts at BWCA Campsite 2262 on Path Lake and ends at BWCA Campsite 2261 on Mirror Lake. The trail initially follows the west shoreline of Path Lake. After leaving Path Lake, the Powwow Trail continues along a ridge on the west side of a creek that connects Path Lake to Mirror Lake. The trail then follows another ridge along the west side of Mirror Lake until reaching the only campsite on that lake. The total distance hiked is about 1.5-miles. The video for this hike was recorded on May 25-26, 2024. The Powwow Trail is located in the BWCA.
