there are actually around 1000 bears in Croatia, so not that rare, but yea not in this region but in Lika and Gorski kotar mostly

You gonna see more of Croatia then I will as a Croat. Nice tho hehe. Bears wise, I'd bring a flamethrower just in case. But don't think I ever heard of bear attack in Croatia.

There are boars on Medvednica so you should be careful
