In the northern part of Skåne lies the small city of Hässleholm. To its south is Finjasjön, a large lake that is popular to walk around. On this 2-day, 26km hike I travelled south from Hässleholm along the skåneleden to Björkviken, Göingaåsen and Hovdala.

Nice video! I live in Hässleholm and hike a lot in this area. The structure you found at 5:00 is an old cold-war nuclear bunker carved out straight into the bedrock.

Thanks for great videos. Would be interesting to know what kind of gear and stuff that you bring with you and think are required for let’s say a three day hike on Skåneleden?

Hey, thanks for the reply! Here's a list of what I usually take for that long. There's really not a difference in kit between 1 day and 5 days (except food). After about 5 days you need to start thinking about a second set of clothes:, and that probably also means a bigger pack. - Osprey Talon 33L pack - Bofus Duos tent + Seat to Summit tent stakes - Black Diamond Trail Ergo trekking poles - Breheimen Down sleeping bag

Thanks for the list. Impressive to be able to use only a 33 L backpack. Feel that I would need something between a 48-58 L backpack for my gear and the additional stuff required.

You do have to compress everything a lot, and use all three outside pockets. I've not used the 33L bag with the thermalite mattress. That's quite big, so it might be a struggle. You do save with the tent though as it only weighs about 0.5kg and uses the trekking poles as tent poles, so no need to take tent poles.

But if I am not mistaken you used a different tent and backpack in this video. Looked like MSR Elixir 2 which I also got.

@@leifandersson8754 The backpack in this one is the Talon, but you're right that the tent is an MSR Elixir 2. I switched to the Duos on the next trip, if i remember correctly. There are some pics of it here: facebook.com/PhyrefliHiker/posts/149785903390606 As the Duos is about 2.4kg lighter in total, it makes it much easier to carry ;)
