Even hiking down it was quite the workout in managing all those ledges.

Adam with hiking poles! Puts in you 4 wheel drive. My knees are thanking me that I finally adopted them and I now feel weird without them on any serious hikes.

@@arthwys I bought some and used once. One of the "sureloc" clips failed and snapped my ankle. Before buying those? I used regular wood hiking sticks. Can you guess what I am now using AGAIN? I will never use those kind of hiking sticks again. Give me sturdy wood sticks any day.

What a great day, it’s always best I think when you have those cotton all clouds choosing over the peaks , keeping hiking Adam, I’ll be up there next week

Adam just wanted to say I love the videos. I just watched your “who am I” video and appreciate the effort you put into these videos, especially learning to edit and film all on your own and from watching KZbin. You mentioned other KZbinr hikers that inspired you such as KyleHatesHiking and Taylor from Nahamsha and I agree I’ve learned so much from them on hiking and backpacking but I’d also add you to the list. You inspire a lot of people to get out and hike showing that you don’t have to be a thru hiker to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. You’ve given me a lot of insight into how to prepare and what to expect on a lot of hikes I am planning so just wanted to say your hard work is appreciated, I enjoy the videos and keep up the great work! 🤘🏼👍 PS loved the music from Zelda in one of your past videos and your reference to Starfox. Great games.

It's such a long hike, but I'd feel like I'd just have to hit North Twin while I'm all the way out there!

Yeah, for trekking poles! Never knew this was the 3rd steepest on the AT. I did this last year with 2 nights at Galehead Hut and included North Twin (nice outlook there too, not it’s summit). That was a more humane way to knock off 3 NH48 summits. Downside of that was you have to go up and down from Galehead Hut to South Twin.

Looks to me like you had the perfect weather day

Looked like you could see half the world from the South Twin summit! That hike looks doable in two days with one overnight. Very long trail and rocky section too! Like seeing you use the hiking poles.

I never knew this was the third steepest mile of the AT, but I definitely believe it! It difficult day on my thru hike, with thunderstorms starting as I reached the summit of South Twin. It would be nice to hike it again in good weather!

You might find some of the skin from my knees and shins in those rocks from a few years ago Adam.

Hi Adam. Thanks for another fun and scenic hike. I liked the way you reacted whtn you got to the top of Galehead! Very funny (and appropriate). Sure enjoyed the views from South Twin. Question: What is the name of the music you used at timepoint kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXanhGaEf8ijlaM? I've always liked that but don't know its name/performer. Look forward to your next adventure. God Bless!

I was SO bored on Gale River trail. Too flat for too long for my taste 😆
