I have not been in Spring, but it went hiking there in the summer at Rock City. Its about half way up the mountain.

Amazing video all of these are beautiful. Love the coastal views and the blue oak trail looks amazing too. Henry coe state park has great views and that oak is awesome. Fern grotto looks good too. Full view as always

These are great trails, Lance! The google earth views were really cool. The step-by-step is very useful before going on the trails for the first time. I love the Henri Coe SP and the Fern Grotto. These are very different trails but both beautiful in their own way. I am bookmarking your video for next time we visit the SF area. Great job, Lance! 👍

Awesome, thank you! The Ponderosa Trail in Henry Coe State Park reminded me of the sierras once I got to the top. A Pine Tree forest is my favorite, beside a nice palm tree lined tropical beach. LOL. have a wonderful week and coming weekend. Say hello to everyone for me.

Well, this list was great, and the hikes were all lovely...BUT...I was a little disappointed that I didn't see, "Hike through a dodgy park where you don't manage to find a mine but do manage to nearly get Lance and Chris hospitalized then get tacos with KattieMetChris" on the list..I mean, I know you've got to be honest in your rankings and someone always has to finish #11 ....wait, we DID finish #11 right???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Any dangerous wildlife in San Francisco on the trails? Here in Florida we have to watch for bears and gators mostly. Is it safe to take your dog?

The main thing we have to look out for would be Rattle Snakes in the summer in the mountains and coastal trails, and Mountain Lions in the hills. Both are pretty rare to see. I think I have seen two Rattle Snakes over several years and have not scene a Mountain Lion........ yet. I think our biggest danger on a trail is the Poison Oak. It seems to grow everywhere around here. Most trails are dog friendly trails, but I would be reluctant to take them on the mountain trails just because of the possibility of Mountain Lions, and desperate for food Coyotes.
