I stumbled on you yesterday looking at the skye trail, such good information thank you soo much. Funny you just uploaded this as I did the 131 early November. I hope you managed to do la palma, I couldn't and it broke my heart really wanted to see the eruption!

Cheers Lewis! Coincidence that you just completed it also. I get to it in my story but I couldn’t get there either because of the volcano eruption. Unfortunate as everyone says it’s one of the best treks. A good excuse to go back again!

Great content! Sensible of you to b&b and camp, makes the trip so much more bearable.. All the water on the island comes from de-salination plants on the coast. Central heating in Lanzarote involves closing the windows when it gets cold!

Thanks for the comment! And also the interesting facts about the water, I had wondered how they maintain a supply to everyone. No need for heating that’s for sure 😂

Hi Jack, could you not buy camping gas in the Decathlon store in Arrecife, Lanzarote?
@jackbrookes Жыл бұрын
They didn't have the twist top kind at the time I was there unfortunately. Hopefully they have increase their range of camping gases by now though but I can't speak for sure

Not to be a party pooper, but I lived in Lanzarote for 12 years, and I pretty much know that flying drones like you did here is illegal.
@jackbrookes2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Daniel! I used the government ENAIRE drone map and stayed on the borders of the national parks - unless I got it wrong - in which case thank you for bringing it to my attention Cheers, Jack

@@jackbrookes You are only allowed to fly in Playa Blanca, but you havent. All the northern Area is military, they have helicopters and radars in the area, the middle part is basically military and airport, the southern part is psrtly military, unless from Playa Blanca.
