Almost a year ago on his podcast, I remember when Kraig was talking about going into the 'hiking film genre' on KZbin because it wasn't too popular. Fast forward to now, and he's dominating the entire genre all the while evolving it into something more. I am really looking forward to more of these. Best of luck on your future hikes!

Congratulations, Mr. Adams, upon making this epic trip. A job well done! My son, Patrick, completed a similar rim to rim trip several years ago. He made the hike in early May to avoid the summer heat. He is an amateur photographer. He took dried fruit, a water bladder, salted nuts, crackers. We are from San Diego, Ca. He prepared every day for several months by climbing a local mountain/hill here named Cowles Mountain. My wife and I dropped him off at 2 AM at the South Kaibab trailhead. He stayed at Phantom Ranch to rest for a couple of hours. Then he continued on until reaching the North Rim at the North Kaibab trailhead at around 5:30 PM. Although, it was not recommended, he felt he had prepared enough to make the trip in one day. He made it in a little over 15 hours. His mom and I were so proud of him...and still are! I told him then that later in his life he can look back with a smile at what he accomplished

Crossed the Canyon in the mid-70's, in one day, on a bet that I could get across the canyon with four friends faster than the other half of our group could get around the canyon. We won, but were instantly findable next morning: when we stretched, our legs cramped, and we yelled. Glad to see that they have improved the trail.
