This peak is higher than highest peak in NZ, great place absolutely jam packed with great nature and buzzing cities. It is the worlds most underrated destination.

Over 70% land in Taiwan are mountain and hill. And also Taiwan have over 250 mountains are height than 3000 meters. If you like hiking, is really welcome everyone to visit here! And again thanks you to film such beautiful video of my homeland

Before this video I had no idea that Taiwan has such magnificent scenery - I formerly thought Taiwan was absolutely flat with nothing but semiconductor factories populating it! Thanks, Kraig, for this video and my education!!

Mt. Jade (Yushan) is taller than Mt. Fuji, the highest in Japan, and a lot greener.

I followed you on AllTrail because I saw your hiking video, it surprises me that you went to my home country. Many people in United States doesn't know Taiwan and they always confused it with Thailand. Some people do the trail in one day because it's really difficult to get the permit for staying in the cabin.

drinking with friends in leisure time, we often speak out loud "呼搭拉" in every round of drinking, which is the quickest way, in my opinion, to make friends in Taiwan. enjoy ur trip. 😁

You got the sunrise from North Summit - best choice! I did Jade mountain last November, but couldn't get a spot in the Paiyun lodge, so did it all in one day, without north peak. Jade mountain may of been at the top of your list, but it's really just the tip (of the iceberg)!

It's great to see that you've come to Taiwan! I highly recommend visiting Holy Ridge Line, which is one of the most classic and beautiful long-distance trekking trails in Taiwan. I hope you have the chance to experience it.

My theory is that most of us are here because we wish our job was to film ourselves going on trips and hiking up mountains. Not to take away from the beautiful work Kraig is doing with these videos - I think they're great.

Finally you come to my country for hiking . but i do recommend Syue mountain . the 2nd highest peak in TW . i almost arrange to hike in this trail every year .

Rad video! You're talented at cinematography and telling a story. Obviously, you already know this, haha. I especially appreciated the logistical stuff at the end. For me, that makes an adventure more accessible. It takes the video past simple consumption for entertainment and makes it educational as well.
