Great video. I haven’t done that hike yet but live in the area and visit often. Maybe next time.

Do you still camp often at the Seqouias?
@fastsmogr2 жыл бұрын
Yep. I live in Visalia. I made a loop down from Wishon to Buck Rock week before last and spent a couple nights.

I may have bumped into you guys. We were on the same hike 8/2. Unfortunately, did not see any bears.

It would be nice if we bumped into each other but we hiked this on July 24th and uploaded a little later hehe

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I'm heading up there next month (October). I know you posted this about a month ago, but when did you actually visit? (It might be nice if you put when you traveled in the description of your videos.) The flow over the falls looked weak compared to some others I've seen, and I'm guessing it will be weak in October, too.

Hi there, we hiked this on July 24, 2022. I am guessing the falls is weaker now though (Maria)

Where did you camp in the park? That was a super nice trail.

Hi Lupe, for this particular trail, we didn't camped. We live an hour from this park so we just drove that day and park.

Enjoy the video! Wow, are you scared of the bears? This is the major concern I have when I am hiking in the bear country and can not truly enjoy the scenery. I truly admire those backpacking hikers! What is the orange device on your shoulder? I bet it helps you to communicate in case of emergency. Thanks!
@TheWorldCruisers2 жыл бұрын
Hi Gloria, this is Maria. I love bears so much and it was my dream to see them on the trail, but not this close. When I finally saw them, I was shaking and was so scared. The second bear was so big, like bigger than my husband. Hahaha. Anyway, the orange thing is just an ordinary walkie talkie. It reaches up to 30 miles. Pretty good to use in case we get separated or for emergency.

@@TheWorldCruisers Thanks for your response, Maria. Glad your dream came true with excitement and scare mixed. Thanks for telling me about the device. I think it is important to keep communicating in the national park or any wildness. I am reading and highly recommend it. It talked about a king canyon NP ranger's story.

Did you encounter mosquitoes all through the hike? We turned around because mosquitoes love me 😞. Love your video 🌲
@TheWorldCruisers2 жыл бұрын
Hi Karen, we did encountered mosquisto towards the middle of the hike, in the foresty area. We had to use off repellant to get through the hike haha. Thank you for loving our video.

you missed showing the Bailey Bridge at the Bubbs Creek cutoff. it's a good landmark.
@TheWorldCruisers2 жыл бұрын
Hi Susie, I knew someone would eventually point it out. Hehe We missed it because we were followed by a bear, so we didn't have time to stop on our way out, we rushed to make it to the trailhead. haha We will check it out next time - Maria
