Hiking the Old Man of Coniston, Lake District.

Hello everyone, welcome back to another Lake District adventure! In this video I take my first hiking adventure to the summit of the Old Man Of Coniston, Lake District. I take you along on my journey across the stunning terrain where mountains continue to come into view before I take a large climb up for a superb view back down to the tarn, taking images as I go to capture these stunning scenic views! Eventually rising up to around 700m the clag appears and I'm ever closer to the summit kern where the weather takes a turn for the worse! Making my along the ridge to hike the large horseshoe trail back into the valley I come across some dramatic hiking and mountain rocks, making this hike one to remember! If you are a fan of hiking, the Lake District and have a keen eye on Photography, then this video should suit you down to the ground. If you have not yet walked this area, it is definitely one for you to include into your plans! I hope you enjoy the video.

Always atmospheric in the clag. The slate mines make me think of the hard working people who were up there trying to scrap together a living. Tough people.

Yes very much so, lots of atmosphere that day, it’s a fantastic area and one that I’m sure had plenty of works taking place back in the day. Really great to see the old mines and vast amount of slat around. Thanks again for watching 👍🏻

This was really enjoyable. The beautiful views, the slate mines, sheep, waterfalls, everything. Especially loved that still shot with the sunbeams. I suppose a 'tarn' (I think you said) is the same as our lakes in Western Australia or Scottish loch. You had a lovely way of talking to us. I hope you do well with your channel.
