The Wave is probably the most impressive place we have gone to yet. I have never seen such truly beautiful and amazing features as what we saw here. Let us know what you think by leaving us a comment and don't forget to hit the like button it helps a lot. Thanks for watching. Gordon & Alice

I would assume there's directions that you must display your permit, visibly at all times? Asking because I see way more videos of people at the wave with packs, etc and there's no permit and it just looks like "most" people are poaching the place?

I watched about 10 videos on youtube. You two are the only with that green tag. Interesting...... Thanks for the great show!

We had a lot of fun on this hike even though it was raining and quite cold. This place is amazing and should be on everyone's bucket list. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it.

Just WOW. Long version a bit better than the short one. The walk-in reminds me of walking into Petra. I would suggest AZ but it cold there also. But if you are feeling very adventurous try Baja. Love your channel cant wait to see where we end up next. Thanks for sharing.

looks like so much fun! The hike I have enjoyed the most was the Windows trail in Big Ben National park in texas. Bring a lunch and enjoy the view once you get to the end. Bring something to feed the friendly mexican bluebirds along the way

You guys are so cute and funny, We got our Wave lottery for Feb 18th after a few tries. We'll fly out of NY tomorrow and spend a few days in UT and AZ. I'm excited to add another great destination video to my channel just like yours. Thank you!

Enjoy. Hopefully the weather will be better for you than it was for us. Either way it's a sight to see.

@@RoamingwiththeRamsays The weather was 10F when we started before dawn and went up to only 32F during our entire hike, I managed to get a few drone shots but not much due to hands freezing every time i took off my gloves. We did make it to the Wave and 2nd wave but then the wind picked up further and we decided not to continue to the Alcove and Melody arch. nevertheless, another box checked :) although I rank this hike to be the most brutal of all so far

Awesome you guys got a permit. We have never had luck. White Pockets is amazing as well, no permit required but you need a 4x4. I would suggest Nevada or Arizona. Tons to do and see!
@RoamingwiththeRamsays4 жыл бұрын
Karen, thanks for the recommendation. Both Arizona and Nevada are on our list. We are actually going to try for another permit for Christmas day since our daughter will be visiting from Alaska. Glad you enjoyed the video....

Very beautiful place! Why do they have the restrictions on the amount of people who can go? Danny and I love to hike. And go anywhere south. Lol. Lynn and Danny

We certainly felt lucky. We tried to do it a second time when our daughter came for a visit with no luck. We entered the lottery 4 times when she was visiting but our number never got called. Glad you enjoyed it...

Hi Guys! Is it hard to get there if you have a permit for sure? Easy to lost or the guide is make it clear where you need to go? My wife a bit afraid about if its hard to hiking or lost in the desert, thanks for you answer :)

Is the trail well marked and easy to follow?
@RoamingwiththeRamsays3 жыл бұрын
It is not. They give you directions that have photos of mountains to walk towards and guidance. It was easy to follow though.

Glacier National Park...Montana. QQQ- What month did you visit The Wave? Did it seem dangerous to you both? Folks have died there- younger people. Maybe it was in the hot summer months. How many miles do you both walk daily? My husband and I walk two - four miles daily. No markers. No footprints. OMG. 😩😩😩Not for me!! Beautiful but dangerous. 🙏
@RoamingwiththeRamsays3 жыл бұрын
It was not as hard a hike as you would think. Didn't feel very dangerous and we did have cell coverage for a large portion of the hike. We walk about 6 miles a day. We hiked the Wave in November. We did spend all of last summer from late April until the end of September Exploring Glacier National Park. We have been having a blast. Gordon & Alice
