Hiking to Hemmed-In Hollow Waterfall via the Compton Trailhead in Arkansas

Hey guys, thanks for being here! My friend and I hiked to Arkansas's Tallest waterfall at 209 feet, Hemmed-In Hollow! The trail is a beautiful, 5 mile out and back. You hike 2.5 miles down to the waterfall, be prepared for the 2.5-mile climb back UP to the trailhead, it's steep, and the elevation change is often underestimated! Thank you for watching!

Charliegirl, I love this hike. I have followed a couple of other hikers on it and, if I ever get out there, it will be on my list. I followed a guy who started where you and Amanda did but shortly cut off to follow the creekbed that eventually forms the waterfall. It was a VERY rugged hike but at least it was relatively flat. But it was nowhere near as scenic as the regular trail. I think I would take the elevation just to get the views! Be safe and God bless.
