Shark Tooth Beach isn't mentioned on the sign at the beginning of the path, nor anywhere else on Jekyll Island (at least I don't think it is). Maybe it's a name given to the area by locals, not sure. If you look it up online you will find where the trail begins and after about a mile walk you will be rewarded with a grand view. The small stretch of beach is not sandy, but instead is made up of shells. You can hear the crunching from the shells under our feet in the video.
We didn't find any sharks teeth on our visit, but we enjoyed the walk, the unusual beach, and the company!
