I worked at Snow Bowl. I remember back in ‘80 or ‘81 it really snowed hard. So hard nobody came up to ski. We had the mountain to ourselves. We called it “Deep Thursday”. The sun came out and there was 5 feet of powder. I went out on a pair of short scorpions and skied the trees all day. It was magical.
