Hiking Vermont's Highest Peak ~ Mount Mansfield

Hellooo friends!! Man, this episode turned out to be much longer than I anticipated haha. We start off by grabbing breakfast, then go on two hikes within the Green Mountains of Vermont, and end the video off with some rollerskating and a little announcement :)

I'm guessing you're getting an extra workout up and down the hill, from placing your camera for your hiking shots? You had me wondering about halfway through if you were gonna be alright, but you laughed it off and kept on. How bad can it be? 😆 Obviously that was a struggle, but it looked like you really enjoyed yourself. Very colorful video - the leaves of course, but also the graffiti, and those snazzy leopard print skates! Fall is my favorite time of year. 😊 Have you ever considered a walking stick or staff? May not have prevented the fall, but they can be handy for other things. You worked hard for that Mudslide!

@@donwyates thankyou! :D I have considered trekking poles but the only problem is that I find myself always needing to use my actual hands to grip onto rocks and trees for support. I think that they would just end up getting in the way more than anything, plus I carry the tripod with the right hand while i hike

New England trails are so different than trails out west. I think new england trails were made before the concept of switchbacks. They just found the shortest route to the summit and said that is the trail.
