Its nice to let people know about the technology, but we need some answers otherwise nobody is going to look at the video's. If you don't have a NVR with acusense but a camera with acusense. Does this work? Please let the people know by answering some of the questions...

Why this only works on line crossing and intrusion events? Why can't I filter cars and humans on recorded motion detection? I want to be able to record all motion detected and filter it by humans and cars and in case that it isn't properly detected I can take a look at motion detected and see if it's important or just a bird for instance...

I would like to know that if i housed the NVR in a control room linked to more than one camera in remote locations (where there may not be a broadband link), does the camera constantly stream to the NVR during the set times. Or can I switch off the stream until there's an intrusion and the controller in the control room is alerted. And then he/she can look at the footage that's now recorded to the NVR. Or is it best to have an NVR at each camera location so that the controller can remote connect to it to look at the footage if required.

Does that mean you can use a AcuSense camera with standard Hikvision nvr ?

Well let me answer your question because the maker of this video isnt going to reply on questions. Yes it works, but you have to set things in the camera itself. I got lucky by finding a firmware for the 7600 nvr series that gave me a lot of options than the standard firmware. But in the end, an acusense NVR is a couple of bucks more so I would just go with an Acusense NVR. This way you can save some money on you're camera's.

@@Kwarkiemodo hello, please can you tell me that a NON-AcuSense camera (like a standard Onvif capable camera) can be used with an AcuSense NVR so can we use the benefits of analytics? Or both the cameras and NVR need to have AcuSense feature to use the analytics? Thanks your answer.

@@Wondobar Hi! If it's the same brand like Hikvision, then yes. Other way around works too. So if you have a normal nvr and a acusense camera, then you have to set the settings in the camera and the message will be send to the nvr. Hope this helps!

@@Wondobar I dont know about other brands. But with Hikvision you can go both ways. Hikvision Acusense nvr with normal hikvision camera's or the other way around. Other brands, I dont know.
