Good early review of the product. Needs a little time for it to be better embedded across the platforms but one to look out for. Ps: annoying when you're looking just to the side of the lens (screen?) when using the camera.

DEAR HIKVISION LOVERS !!!! Just learned something today. IF YOU BOUGHT YOUR HIKVISION IN THE US , your NVR would not wotk WITH IP speakers without HIK-Central . ( QUESTION FOR THE UK USERS ? is your hikvision NVR considered UK or International model?

we use UK firmware on our models and need specific firmware to make these work actually

Hello my favorite English Comrade !!! Do you have any problem with the latest firmware for the I series NVR ? I followed your instructions and the PDF as well . Spent 3 hours today and it would not output any sound but it will play the sample audio if I go to the web interface of the IP speaker . NVR detects it everything looks good in the config but it won’t play any audio . Does it still work without HIk- central pro on I series NVRs . Even called the tech support at hikvision , the tech fellow told me I configured properly. Is there any issues with the latest firmware . Just FYI the PDF links don’t work anymore for the tools and the firmware . I got them anyway . Since you probably install them more than me just curious if you ran into the same problem yet

You could trigger alarm output from nvr and then hen wire into alarm input on nvr to trigger audio as work around
