@@softgirl2351 It’s so gratifying, eh? I don’t know my rescues’ story, I don’t think he was physically abused, but I do think he got passed around, dumped. He was just so sad and stoic when we got him. (I didn’t even want a dog, I’ve had a lot of them, and I just didn’t want another). But, here I am. And here he is in his forever home. *sigh*.

@Alexander Starkey I don’t see how that’s weird. I’m personally a dog person (might be because I haven’t had a cat growing up) but I also do love cats. I always find myself going to places where dogs are, but I always get a bit excited whenever I see a cat. They’re beautiful and majestic, but can have a really silly side as well! All animals are special in their own way, which makes them loveable to some and terrifying to others (I hate/am afraid bees, but I also find them strangely adorable with their fuzziness. I also appreciate that the pollinate our plants, since we’d all have a harder time getting food/flowers without them). Tl;dr - all animals are special, and it isn’t weird you love both dogs and cats. People have their own opinions, and you’re no exception. Cats and dogs are both loyal friends in the end if treated right. One is simply seen as more reserved than the other.

3:38 On the other side of that story. My cat Minnimus had never net a dog before. My wife, our girlfriend, and I had moved to a new place, half of a duplex. One of my buddies came by to see the new place, and brought his dog. A pitbull. He knocked. I opened the door. He came in, followed by the dog. Minnimus saw the dog, and I swear on my name, stood up on his hind legs, ran across the room, and started whaling on this poor dogs face. He must have hit him at least ten times before the dog even realized it was under attack. Still rates as one of the funniest things I've ever seen in person.
