The drummer in a later incarnation of The Byrds, Gene Parsons, invented the B Bender. He is still building and repairing them in northern California. You can Google him and contact him directly if you are having an issue with your B Bender. I hope that he gets royalties from Fender, which makes the guitar out of their Telecasters...

i as watching a linda ronstadt live performance on you tube , and their was this standout guitar player, not really dressed to fit in with the show, but obviously an exceptional player. About half way through the show, the band as introduced. I had heard of Waddy Wachtel , it's not the kind of name one forgets, but didn't know what he looked like. Ronstadt seemed especially pleased when she introduced him, and it was understandable.

Just talking about being in Keiths solo project band the X-pensive Winos late 80's a great band and definitely scared Mick back on track. At the time Jagger was doing some solo stuff . Keith thought that was a bit of a betrayal and formed the X-pensive winos with Waddy on guitar and it was an awesome band and a hit with the MTV crowd , personally I think it was the thing that finally got Jagger to re-commit to The Stones . . . . Keith is good at what he does.

Waddy is a Super Nice Cat I Met Him in The 1980’s in a English Pub Called The Cat & Fiddle on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood Across The Street Was SIR Where Kieth and The X-Pensive Winos Were Rehearsing For The Hollywood Palladium Gig The Cat & Fiddle Was Also a Speak Easy Or After Hours If They Knew You The Cat & Fiddle Would Let You In and You Could Drink From 2:00 am To 6:00 am After Hours I Would Drink at The Cat & Fiddle During Their After Hours and I Met Ivan Neville Later I Met Waddy It Was a Sad Moment Because Waddy Told Me He Got Some of His Guitars 🎸 Stolen at The Palladium Gig Now This Was Back In The 1980’s So a Few Years Go By Waddy is Playing With Stevie Nicks and They Rehearsed at Sony Studios in Culver City on Stage 32 I Worked on That Lot Am IBEW Local 40 Studio Electricians I Bumped into Waddy on The Sony Lot and I Re Introduced Myself and He Remembered Me From The Cat & Fiddle I Asked Him “”Waddy Did You Ever Get Your Guitars 🎸 Back “” He Said “” No”” 😮 It Was Over 30 Years Since He Got His Guitars 🎸 Stolen at The Hollywood Palladium Gig That Gig There is a Live CD of That Gig and DVD 📀 of That Gig of Keith Richards and The X-Pensive Winos That Was The Gig Waddy Got His Guitars 🎸 Stolen If Anyone Has The Smallest Clue Let’s Hope He Can Get His Guitars 🎸 Back It’s Been Over 30 Years Yet Better Late Than Never Cheers 🍻 To Your Big Ears Mate Waddy is One Cool 😎 Cat 🐈‍⬛
