Your first skill needs melee attacks... it never worked after changing your initial swords for the desert eagle and onward :)

Its honestly insane how much worse that trait is than swagger (the last trait reto picked up) Crits scale with weapon damage, that one doesn't, swagger takes 5 attacks to trigger, that one takes 8. The only real advantage is, that it has an interaction with the "body damage" keyword, but considering how many more interactions crits have, it's only very situational.

FYI the genie gives 200 gold when you take wealth. (anecdotal evidence) which is more value compared to maxing a weapon.

Although... Given you have to find a blacksmith to use the gold to max a weapon... It's a choice you have to make.

The Taunt debuff seems wasted because you're always firing a fixed non-close distance, or at the very least, I didn't notice it doing increased damage when landing the sawblades on enemies.

Damn. This build got sick nasty early on. That tally trait being only on melee attacks is sad considering there’s so many strength based weapons that are ranged.

Jester is actually the most fun character with a slow high damage piecing weapon like a greatsword or sniper rifle. You can do tons of damage after each dash and play very different. Not the strongest hero, but playing it as intended is kinda cool and unique.

I've been trying to get the soldier to the defeat the guardian of hell and have failed three times in the last phase :( I keep getting mediocre builds that just can't do enough towards the end but I don't wanna give up! Can't wait to finally unlock this Dragoon character! If anyone has insight to good soldier builds feel free to reply!

they really made dopple and chaos shit in this game. dopple used to copy a random character and enhance all it's stats and effects. now it's jut completely useless. chaos is a little better having better stats but still completely useless. all it does is giving random starting equipment and your ability. the only thing that matters is ability. the equipment doesn't do anything since it's replaced almost right away. at that point I'd rather just pick my character for the same effect
