El Sabado, the Sabbath, is Saturday. Even though Jesus rose from the dead and defeated Satan, Emperor Constantine had no business changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Jesus rising on Sunday didn't give us a reason to change God's word. It just reaffirms that Jesus slept through the Sabbath and did a great work (His resurrection and victory over sin) on Sunday, the first day of the week. Pray for our world and its leaders. The whole point in informing people about the National Sunday Law is to keep people from following what man will set up as the official day of rest as opposed to what day God calls the day of rest. And its important people know what day of the week that is because the fourth commandment about the Sabbath is the very commandment that identifies God as the creator. When man superimposes his own Sabbath day law, making it Sunday, it will force people to choose between man's law or God's law.

To answer your question on what a Christian should DO to be saved? The answer is, we cannot DO anything to be saved. We do not work for salvation, if we try we will always fall short because we are sinners. Thru God's grace and God's grace only can one be saved. God asks for love, obedience to His commandments and His word, the Bible, and faith. By sending His son Jesus Christ to die for us, He paid it all for us I'm order to have salvation. You have in your fundamental beliefs, a specific set of rules which you must follow in order to be accepted into heaven; your ridiculous food laws, marriage laws etc. God gives grace via faith alone. What you are doing is not showing faith. You are working for atonement. Not to mention, you are part of a denomination which has been told they are exclusive to all other denominations (remenant church, which you are not), and have been made to believe that anyone who stands against your views see heathens and the enemy. Her writings were Divinely inspired and not thoroughly expressed by her own knowledge. If you ever read any of her writings and compared them to the Word through the Holy Spirit, you would believe the same. But we don't serve EGW, we serve God our creator. Umm, Why is Ms. Clinton talking to SDA's? Of course, she wont remember this little speech when it comes to fiddling with the constitution, but... hmmm. The SDA church has had some problems with their collective ideas on salvation, but it seems they are now finally getting the biblical principle that only the blood of Jesus can save. Nothing I do can earn me heaven, my faith in Jesus' sacrifice is my only hope and my only assurance of salvation. I am sorry there is so much hostility in so many of these comments. So many people in so many faiths love God and strive to love as he did. Love for all was Jesus' command. My goal is to learn to love myself and others unconditionally as God Himself does. I am still learning, and the reason I am interested in the SDA church is because, despite their stubborn hold on legalism, they are so far the only church ( I have attended many!) that believe and teach total bible truth. I read the Bible daily, so far, nothing in their fundamental beliefs contradicts the bible. Just because many of their congregations are off kilter and maybe don't interpret their actual beliefs (They have a list of 28 Beliefs) correctly, doesn't mean they should be the baby thrown out with the bath water...
