As a Ghanaian I lived with Nigerian tenants in our neighborhood. Honestly they were mostly in my mom’s kitchen pleading , grandma please serve us some of your food when done . Especially when it was jollof or waakye. They always praised Ghana jollof made by my mom and drew comparisons to theirs they are way back in Nigeria. Bro, after eating 3 spoons, I threw the food away. The texture of the rice is very bad. Also, we had a bbq this summer, and we had different pans of Nigeria Jollof, and that of Ghana. Everyone ate the Ghana jollof rice. We discarded the Nigerian one. Even the Nigerian who made the jollof rice ate the Ghanaian jollof.

Though it's true that the taste depends on who is cooking the food, I'm sure there's a particular way to prepare the jollof called Ghanaian or Nigerian. I believe it's about the recipe. Different people might add some twists to it and influence the taste. A Nigerian cooking jollof using Senegalese or Ghanaian recipe will still be called Nigerian jollof. I believe what she prepared in her video is what they call Nigerian jollof.
