I don't think it is ever officially stated, but many people have commented that the landscape and infrastructure resemble that of Norway. This is further strengthened by the many creatures stemming from Norse mythology.

There is always the fact that it may not supposed to be in any actual world as we know it, just pulling from the different sources. As far as accents, that may not have been written into the character specifically so most you just end up with the native accent of the voice actor themselves.

@@TantalusStudiosyeah agreed idk why but I remember a bunch of ppl on Reddit trying to figure this out and one of them showed a pic from the show where there was a map of the world on a wall somewhere and it looked pretty different. So ever since then I’ve just assumed they live in an alternate reality kind of thing. Maybe for them there is no Ireland/Norway/Welsh etc, it’s all just one big country. Steven Universe did the same thing IIRC, there was an episode where they went to “Korea” but there was no North/South Korea, their version was just one country
