Well I don’t think you could have gotten it either because you had to gamble yourself up to 50 000 doubloons (I am not joking with that number) or get lucky with the containers that you could get along the way, and by the way they only had a 2% chance of dropping the ship

@ForceM1782 sadly, yes. You can get the other hybrids, like the Tone (japanese cruiser with torp planes) or the Kearsarge, but none of them launch planes every minute and then get the other bombs comming up 4 minutes later, the thing with Hildebrand is that it gets 2 different attack groups, the torp ones and then the bombs. That's what makes it so special. I was lucky enough to get it with only 40 000 doubloons, and it was worth it. It's a ton of fun but the down side is playing it like a carrier, you see in the video the guys sits behind an island and spams planes, we'll if there is a Dutch cruiser on the enemy team and you stay still, those airstrikes are going to beat the absolute SH*T out of you. I once killed a full HP Hildebrand with 3 golden leeuw airstrikes and 1 main batteries salvo. You are very weak to bombs, and also, you are not that tanky. You get decent secondaries and you can even have a 12km secondary range along with your planes but they are just good in paper, due to its angles you have to sit broadside so it's only useful against DD's. Anyways it's a nice ship but a very tricky one at times.

@@alexanderhamilton9583 well i would possibly have gone for it if i had the possibility. But for 50k, you can transform a ton of ship xp to free and/or get research bureau ships and/or buy ships from the Armory, etc. So yeah…
