Looked like guy had a Blast out there man! Trails look awesome and dirt looked prime!

Dirt was really good, especially for the hill climbs! This place is so good, need to go there more.

Haven't been to Cat Lake in 8 or so years, looks like it may be time to go again.

Yeah man, it’s one of my favourites now. The hill climbs are so fun. I imagine it’s changed a lot in 8 years.

Find us a way through to the upper Pitt River hot springs ♨️

Oh man! If this existed it would be a gem! I wouldn’t be surprised if it existed that Mother Nature has taken it back. That would take some serious maintaining to keep that open.

@@stanbarry I have a pretty good idea of what the "new route" is going to be ... = Head out back of the sasquatch inn as though your heading towards the old Chehalis slide on that FSR { basically heading straight out past elbow lake ect ect } take a left at the red gate { most traffic heads right at this fork in the road )=( probably have to bushwhack around this gate, its not illegal to be on the other side of this gate, its just logging equipment they don't want anyone messing with on the weekends & at night, you can drive through this gate during the day for example, but then your truck might get stuck inside, parking at elbow lake or near there is probably the best option Once past this Red Gate { you'll notice on Google maps satellite view } need to work you way towards the very end of the logging roads system that exists north westerly, or maybe it's just basically a westerly direction., there is a small lake at the end of this area in a natural bowl Its from this area one must side hill their bike up & outta there at some point heading in a somewhat westerly direction You'll connect with some of the the most easterly logging operations { roads & clear-cuts are visible on google maps } this "connection ..?" Lets call it 🤔 ? Appears to be about 2 kms & could be in the alpine at times I think it's a fear factor side hill loose shaley gravel operation with your inside knee on your seat 2nd gear keeping the momentum kinda operation Figures that I'd find a reason why selling my 250 years ago was a bad idea 🤦

Nice riding. that sound is likely a pheasant or grouse. Next time turn right at 10:55, you will like it.

Sweet trails. Are you running stock tune?
@stanbarry8 ай бұрын
Yep, most of the bike is stock besides gearing.
@ricky69128 ай бұрын
WOW Extra - what tire do you run - rear and what gears do you have 12, 13 - 48.50 ?
@stanbarry8 ай бұрын
Good times! I run a AT81EX on the rear with Tubliss. I changed the gearing to 12/45 from the stock 13/45. The KTM/Husq/GasGas TBI bikes have much lower transmission gearing so that's the reason for the 45 tooth sprocket.
@ricky69128 ай бұрын
@@stanbarry Thanks for the info, but I have "TPI not TBI and I ride at 13/50, what do you think about it, KTM TPI 300 gears
@stanbarry8 ай бұрын
@@ricky6912 When I had my TX300 (XC KTM equivalent) I was running 12/49. I think stock was 13/51. For me I like to gear my bikes down from stock for more technical riding. It makes it easier to lift the front wheel and makes 1st gear super good for pivot turns and zapping up things. I’m hardly ever in 6th gear so I don’t mind losing some top speed.
