On this episode of KC ATV we start off our riding season at Buckhorn trail system in Arkansas.
We had 13 Quads show up for the first ride April 5th 2024.
The ride starts off with creek crossing and hill climbs then things really get interesting!

WOW! Killer intro buddy! - - - 1:37 - HAHAHAHA!!! - I used to be like that (leave at 3:00 AM), until I retired - LOL - now I'm like "Whatever, I'll leave when I get up" - HAHAHA!!! - Except when Tim & I go to BC, then we're leavin' around 5:00 AM. - - - OMG, that is a huge crew! Everyone wants to ride with KC! YEEEEHAW! - - - - Good to see Tim's Grizz is back in working order! Get your light fixed ya hippie! - HAHAHAHA!!! - - - 25:41 - LOL - right on! Bologna sandwich dipped in ketchup was my best friends favorite when we were in elementary school. Mine was ham dipped in ketchup. To this day, I still like a ham sandwich (just ham and butter) dipped in ketchup once in awhile - lol - - - 26:15 - Hi Jim & Tina! Hi Brian and Koeleen(spelling?)! How cool is that! Finally some faces to the comments. Now I just need to figure out who they are on the comment board - lol. KZbin doesn't show the names anymore, so drop me a note and let me know please! And thanx for introducing me KC! Greatly appreciated buddy! - - - 27:03 - WOW, how cool is that old fireplace/chimney! Fun to let the mind wander and imagine the history of the folks who lived there. Hey buddy, Baloney is not my favorite Lunch meat, but have you seen the price of groceries lately? Geez! Can’t afford ham sandwich anymore.. LOL Glad you liked the intro! Got to do stuff like that when I can. When you’re still working and you have time off you don’t have time to sleep. 3:00 AM Always trying to do as much as possible when I’m off work. Yes work sucks! LOL Yeah buddy, it was a heckuva group! Fun having that many folks but sometimes difficult getting through tough spots. The old house site is cool. I do wonder what it looked like back when it was standing and people were living there. Awesome comment as usual buddy. Thanks for watching!

Awesome video once again! The trails out there look super fun to ride on. The river crossings look fun! Coming from a mountainous desert it's not often i come across water on my rides. But man that chimney was cool looking. Thanks for the video.

Heck of a group of folks, what a nice ride. Me and the wife are taking my '22 Rubicon 520 to Wolf Pen Gap in early May. It'll be our first ride anywhere in it and we're loving the inspiration from your vids.

Just returned home yesterday night 3 days riding to parks both in Indiana , Interlakes for 2 days the too Lowrance atv park for Saturday .

Great intro my friend! Wow, there's a couple of riders out on this trip. So I've never played around with these comm systems. What do you use, and do you have much difficulty linking all of those units together? I do like your high tech shading device for your phone there buddy, haha. That's a fine blow me sammich sir. Lol Do you think the home was abandoned and then someone "helped it" burn down? Great ride buddy.

Hey buddy!, Truth be known baloney sandwich is not necessarily my favorite, but have you seen the price of groceries lately!? Woowee WTH right? Yeah, for sure was a big group of riders! As far as linking up all on the comms, we are using the Sena 30K units on the mesh system. With the mesh system, there is linking the comms up. Each person just turn their unit on and put into mash mode and they connect automatically. I think you can connect up to 16 riders and have six talking at the same time haha I think half of the time there were sex, talking at the same time😆 LOL So you liked my sun shade device eh 😮 I have no idea about the old homestead, but there sure wasn’t any left but some melted debris. @@kcatv9556 yeah stuff sure is getting expensive! What a bummer huh? Hooking the comms up sounds a lot simpler than I expected. Was going to ask for a video on that, as I imagined some funny antics must surely come from that, haha. Oh well.

Man I enjoyed this one from beginning to end. It was a bit of a Polaris festival, didn't care for that part too much 🤣. Loving the trails you guys were climbing! So much diversity at Buckhorn. Can't wait for part 2, thanks for taking us along for the ride and sharing the bologna sandwich 😂

Do you have any group rides planned in the future? I will go going to Mississippi the first weekend in May and was thinking about trying to make a trip there on the way back to Illinois

We entered the trail system right at the parking lot trailhead there at the Lee Creek entrance. I believe the width was under 72 inches. The gates there are pretty narrow. Thanks for checking out the video. Much appreciated!

Hello there, Quebec Canada, we are using the Sena 30K units for communicators. We have a microphone hook to the GoPro. That’s how we hear all of the voices from the comms. Thanks for checking out the video. Much appreciated!

I like your videos; i see polaris and yamahas and no hondas. are there no hondas because they don't make any big engine 4x4s? If you were to buy a new one; what would it be? take care; be safe.

Hey Jim, you’re right not too many folks by Honda 4 x 4 to trail ride. I suppose it’s because they don’t make any big engine quads and that usually what people want for trail riding. If I were to buy a new machine, I would probably still go with a Yamaha grizzly. Thanks for checking out the video and appreciate you dropping a comment!
