Solo camping is my favorite way to camp. Sure, I have a great time when I take the wife and kids, or head out with my buddies too. But when I'm out there alone, just me and the woods, listening to the night and the crackle of the fire, that's when I feel most alive, and most at peace. That grill/fire is pretty cool. Probably not something I'd want to haul into the woods but excellent for carside camping with the family and aforementioned friends. Thanks for sharing.

What size firebowl plate did you use on the Atago that you said fits perfectly. I know you said small but there are now three sizes. Is it the FS38 or FS48? Thanks
@davidfriars8 ай бұрын
Hi the petromax fire bowl is the fs38 👍

@@davidfriars this is perfect. I’m not a fan of the hot plate specifically designed for the Atago, and this I’m sure would be more versatile with my Kadai and other fire pits. Thanks for answering me so quickly… I’m off to have a little spend on the Atago and fire bowl 38 now.

Hi David. How waterproof are these swags in reality for a proper British winter?
@davidfriars Жыл бұрын
The material Outhaus use is totally waterproof and very tough, when getting into the swag I would make sure all zip are covered and the swag it setup nice and tight like any tent. If you buy it new I would set it up and leave out for a couple of days to get wet and dry like any canvas tarp of tent so the materials expand. How this help. 👍

Great. Thanks for the reply. Good to hear. Love the channel. I've got an atago. Awesome bit of kit that. Have you tried the oven hood thing for baking on it?

@@Sisu_80 I have not used one myself but a few people I know have and said they work well.
