The mini sealer is fine for things that you don't care how it looks. If you want any kind of professional look or an easier time at doing it, definitely look at the higher end sealers.

Make sure batteries are going one each in opposite directions, also press down for 5 seconds to activate heat. It will work then.

I got mine a month ago from CVS and it has been working great on resealing chip bags... and anything else (oatmeal bags too). Just heat up for about 3 seconds and run it across half of the bag... then finish the other half, as per the instructions. Completely happy with this product. 👍

When you do the pressing, it is 'on'. When you let go the pressing, it is 'off'.
