Love to see Hilleberg enter this segment of the market and stick with the attached, double wall style as their other tents. So many pitching and use options and well designed to make it all come together easily. I have the Unna, Nammatj and Allak - now I want one more! Great presentation Petra, clear and concise.

Best way to pitch the anaris is to put that brown outer tent corners tight first and those corners sticks to the ground. After this you can already put trekking poles and that side's stick to the ground also. And the last you put inner tent corners sticks.

Oh man, I wish I had the money to try this tent out here in Norway. Seems wonderful ^^

I purchased the tent and I was using it several times here in Finnish Lappland. Some positive things: It is overall a great tent, big enough for two persons. When the side is opened, it seems, you sleep outside. That just feels absolutely great. Package size is reasonable small. You can change your trousers inside of the tent without lying down strangely and fight and hope, nobody is watching - It is quite high for its surface space. Negative: The zippers should definitely be doubled, and not a single one. That is a detail, that jumps very often into my mind. To consider is also: For its size, it needs quite big space to be firm on the ground - not necessary negative - just the way you have to use it. There is also no small storage inside the tend, for example for small things, that shall be fast in reach. Question: Is it by any means possible to get the double zipper refit over the winter?

If anyone else is wondering about this: Just buy a SlideOn zipper and attach it yourself

Great vid. I'm thinking of getting this tent, always wanted a hilleberg so this might be the one as I'm doing the west highland way again next year with the misses. Has anyone tried it out in the scottish rain yet? How did it hold up? Have you tried it out in very bad weather like a storm? Thanks

Hello Hilleberg. I am looking at the Anaris as my next tent. But I am concerned about how it will handle in strong winds and in mountain conditions. What is maximum wind speed for safely using the Anaris?
@HillebergTentmaker3 жыл бұрын
Hello. We do not have maximum wind speeds for multiple reasons. For more detailed information, you can contact our customer service team at tentmaker@hilleberg.com

Hello, I would like to purchase an Anaris tent. I owe a pair of Komperdell explorer contour trekking poles. Would they fit into the sleeves of the Anaris? Maybe you could tell me the circumference of the sleeves so I could measure the grips of my trekking poles? Best regards from Germany 😊

Why do you have to set up the guyline so far away 😬
@HillebergTentmaker4 жыл бұрын
You don't necessarily have to but the angle like that will give it better structure and interior height.

I would love to buy a Hilleberg tent, but unfortunately they still use fluorocarbon based water repellents on the inner tents. Please Hilleberg stop using these toxic chemicals, for the health of your users, and the employees that must come into contact with these substances
@dougieranger4 жыл бұрын
What would you use?
@benellerbusch30744 жыл бұрын
Dougie fjallraven has fluorocarbon free tents with I believe a silicone based DWR. I have not used them though. I called Hilleberg customer service and asked them to sell an untreated inner tent, where I could apply my own silicon based DWR. They could even use this as an option. I would even pay extra!! Soon the European Union will force them to stop using fluorocarbons. So I am hopeful and will just have to wait another couple years.
@benellerbusch30744 жыл бұрын
Dougie as all Hilleberg tents are made by hand in their own factory, having a separate untreated cloth to use as an option present no real difficulty during manufacture. If enough people become aware of this, hopefully we can force Hilleberg to change. Outdoor gear companies all over the world are eliminating fluorocarbons and they are a known health risk.

Let’s be sensible with the pricing , no one can afford a tent from you , well not the average working guy with 3 kids really wanted a sataris after having a few of your great tents , no way can I afford one now ! Read a blog from an ex employee of yours saying he left as he knows the markup of your products and said it’s disgusting
@lovehallgren4 жыл бұрын
me and my pooch Quality items cost 💰A Hilleberg tent can last 30 years
@marcusdeboer90474 жыл бұрын
All tent brands have a big markup. Difference is that hilleberg manufactures by hand in Europe and not in China. Plus their tents last a long time (the lightweight stuff maybe less but that’s the drawback of lightweight) and they have awesome customer service...
@chrisw33273 жыл бұрын
@me and my pooch : I am confused by your comment. You said that you have had a few Hilleberg Tents but want another. I am surprised at your criticism. How much should a good tent cost? How much do decent design, skilled production, QC and quality materials add above the bare minimum? Is it better to buy one tent that lasts 30 years or ten tents that last 3 years each? What about the working conditions of those who produce the tent? I know that some people simply can't afford to buy a Hilleberg but if you can, there are strong arguments for buying once and making it last.
@erichlf4 жыл бұрын
Not sure why anyone would buy this over the zpacks duplex. The duplex cost the same but weighs 21oz. You could spend $100 and get the e triplex, which is 24oz and can sleep three.

One good strong wind and this tarp (as it's not really a tent is it) will be as flat as a pancake. IMHO.
@HillebergTentmaker4 жыл бұрын
We have had the Anaris set up in storm for days and it handles really well. This is why certain details like the pole pockets for instance look the way they do. :)
@chrisw33273 жыл бұрын
@simon sharp You should do some more research into Hilleberg. They are perhaps the most respected tent manufacturer and even their three season tents (including the Anaris) can withstand extremely bad weather. I would have no concerns using this in mountain conditions, as long as there was no significant show loading. I have a Hilleberg Unna red label for UK winter snow conditions and that recently laughed off a decent amount of wind and snow loading, effortlessly. I highly recommend Hilleberg. The one problem is that you might want to start collecting them, as they are so well made and well designed, compared to other tents!
