The United Nations has two refugee agencies - UNHCR for approximately 100 million refugees worldwide, and UNRWA specifically for Palestinians. UNRWA has become a source of income for some HAMAS supporters or militants. This is unfair to refugees in other parts of the world with insufficient funding. UNRWA should be dismantled and UNHCR should be used instead!

As to "evidence," Israel has consistently backed up its reports, while the world seems to accept without any evidence whatsoever anything that is reported out of Gaza by Hamas, via UNRWA and the Health Ministry without question of support to their claims. How about Hamas accusing the IDF of bombing the Al-Ahli hospital, killing at least 500 people, a number they came up with in just a few hours, which alone should have put up red flags. It was front page headlines across the world. Come to find out, it was one of Hamas's own rockets, and it hit the hospital parking lot, killing perhaps 80 of their own people, but which is likely still counted in the death toll Hamas throws out there. UNRWA is a bad actor, teaching curricula to students through the entirety of their public education that is unambiguously antisemitic and intent on genocide. This fact, too, is compiled in detailed reports if you actually cared enough to look. As to "genocide," your head us twisted on wrong. The Top Ten donors were: USA Germany EU ( 27 member countries ) Sweden Norway Japan France Saudi Arabia Switzerland Turkey So basically 31 western countries, Turkey and Saudi-Arabia are funding 89,2 percent of UNWra. On top of that the top ten also fund UN through wich UNWRA gets funding ( see below). Note that Germany, Sweden and France are also donating through membership in EU. There are loud voices already across EU that demand a stop to this waste of money. Billions have been pumped into Gaza and very little can the people in Gaza present that they have achieved with those funds. This is how UNWRA itself says they are funded: "How We Are Funded UNRWA benefits from the generous support of UN Member States including regional governments and the European Union ( The ten I showed before). Together, these sources represent close to 89.2 percent of financial contributions to the Agency. In 2022, UNRWA resource mobilization efforts yielded a total pledged amount of US$ 1.17 billion (including UN Secretariat regular budget support for international staff). Sister UN agencies share skills and expertise with UNRWA in addition to projects benefiting Palestine refugees in other multi-sectorial areas, making the UN system in the region more coherent and effective. In 2022, funding received from the UN regular budget and contributions from other UN entities amounted to US$ 44.6 million. UNRWA also partners with businesses and foundations, ranging from small local tech companies to large multinationals; we tailor each partnership to make the best use of our partner's expertise and ensure mutual benefit. We work closely with small community-based organizations and with international NGOs, drawing on their unique resources and strengths to deliver effective services for Palestine refugees. Particularly during emergencies, individuals have an invaluable role in responding to the needs of Palestine refugees. Private partnerships added US$ 15.4 million in 2022." What weak arguments. There are 13,000 UNRWA employees in Gaza, and most are Palestinians that have been under Israeli oppression for decades. Draw a simple Venn diagram and you'll have a number of people employed by UNRWA who are also sympathetic to Hamas and the resistance fight. You can replace UNRWA with UNPA or whatever, and you will again have the same overlap. That does not mean that UNRWA the institution condones any of what a small minority is engaged in. For the record, UNWATCH has been described as an Israeli lobby group (and not by UNRWA), and mr. Neuer is a very pro-israel Jewish man.
