britea college is what you make of it! School work in general is stressful but that’s just one aspect of being in school. Socializing and making friends will make it worth while! But you don’t have to worry about it yet, so just enjoy high school and get involved! It’ll make school a lot more enjoyable ☺️

It's nice to see another full time nanny and student. People act like it's 'just babysitting' but going there daily it's a job just like everyone else's and arguably more tiring at times if you've got young ones

I’ve had multiple part-time jobs before nannying but I can honestly say that nannying is the best job as a student! Not only does it pay well but it’s also so fulfilling to spend time with kids. It’s great to act like a kid sometimes especially when life as a college student gets so stressful! :)

So I’m going to a community college as well I’m the fall and only taking 3 class but I plan to work as well, how do you manage to get a work schedule that fits around your classes ? Btw your my fav❤️

Hi Jacky! Not gonna lie, at times it was difficult to find a schedule that actually fits. I used to prioritize my work hours over my class schedule, so I would schedule my classes around my work schedule but now I do the opposite. Nannying/babysitting is also very flexible! It's all about communicating and building relationships with your employers because they're more than likely to accommodate you and your schedule when you just talk to them about it (most employers support student workers and understand why you'd need to change your schedule around). Communication is key!!! It might also help if you only take classes on certain days. For example, for this semester, I only have class on Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays and designate Mondays & Wednesdays as work days for my other job (gymnastics gym). Anyways, I hope this helped! K that’s the exact reason I went to PCC hahaha, but I do take classes at both! I really like PCC more than GCC tho, but that’s just me :)

@@avocad0thottie GCC's curriculum is different and much harder in my opinion. For almost all the classes I took at GCC, grades were based on exams alone. Personally I didn't like it, PCC's curriculum was more collaborative and engaging. It really depends on what your learning style is!

There are days where I’ll get off work early so I have some time to do it then! But Friday, Saturday and Sunday are my homework/study days. And no not really, there will days where I know my brain can’t take anymore so I won’t force myself to study but usually I’m pretty good at staying up. I’m more of a night person anyways!

Possibly but it probably won't be detrimental. It really depends on how far you live, how much schoolwork you need to do that night, how long it will take you to get to sleep, etc. Overall, if you prioritize your work in a way that works with your schedule, you may not need to do any work Sunday night and can get as much of that time to sleep. Drinking water when you first wake up can also make you feel energized (it does for me anyway:) ) I know I'm not the KZbinr, but I do know a little about this but I think you will be fine. Good luck with school and work!

A lot of community colleges don't! I highly recommend looking for housing groups on facebook, there's always someone looking for a roommate!

Too MuchMiracle it all depends on what you prefer! Personally, I prefer going to school before work because my first semester at PCC I did work in the morning before going to class. I realized that it just made me tired and made class unbearable and more difficult. But that’s just me! Hope that helped :)

Honestly i have a bad GPA, i don't try in HS, i think HS is useless . But i do wanna go to college. My question is, (since i don't know much about community college) did you have to pay for it ? If so is it expensive...?

So depending on your family’s financial situation, you may be eligible for FAFSA to finance your studies. Community college is wayyyyy cheaper than university. Personally, I didn’t have to pay for tuition at all because financial aid supported me. I talk all about it in my other video “What Community College is REALLY Like”, I also talk about ALL you need to know about school. Check if out!

My community college is literally 5 mins away from my house so I’m thinking 4-yr college (university of Arkansas) or my community college where I will not have to be home sick and not being able to comeback home every two weekends and get a ride to drive me down 3 hours away from home😞, I need help but actually thinking I’ll do com college then transfer to uni

I would definitely choose the option that puts your mind at ease! College can be a really stressful time, especially in the beginning. If you choose to do community college then transfer, you’ll get to experience both!

Do you have any tips about PCC like the school or the teachers (entering this fall)

PCC is a pretty inviting and encouraging campus. My #1 tip for any student out there, PCC or elsewhere, is to never be afraid to communicate openly and honestly with your professors. Sometimes as students we tend to ignore the fact that our professors are human as well, and have been where we're at as students themselves. Most professors are understanding and genuinely care to see you succeed. Never be afraid to reach out to them for anything really, they're great mentors to have!
