I never fought anything as large as those mountains: three sections was the biggest fire I’d ever been on. What a memory. Sometimes I think it’d be nice to be young and go do that stuff again, but then I think of all the hours cutting a fireline.

My V2 Lindi is the best, most comfortable pack I have ever carried.

If I understand correctly they will work on the original Umlindi correct?
@HillPeopleGear3 жыл бұрын
Yes. The biggest thing the v1 Lindi is missing for fire is a covered fusee pocket for helicopter rides.

What is the difference between the Type 1 Pack and the Umlindi? Is this a Umlindi with a bunch of extras as a set, or is the pack different to the normal Umlindi?

The compression straps are removed, but the Line Pocket has straps so its sort of the same.

@@anywhereroam9698 correct - Umlindi with side compression straps removed, Line Pocket and Fire Shelter pocket added.

Looks like an awesome system Evan. Just ordered your Umlindi V2 and "patiently" waiting on its arrival. I believe at least a line pocket is in my future, Would the Line pocket fit on my Tara and Ute as well? Nate
