Thank you professor and the videos. The young man was not ready for responsibility, marriage or a family. She just wanted to please, but she did want the abortion. Excellent way of doing the assignment.

Would anyone like to see a remake of this? I originally made it in undergrad and I’m very proud of what we did at the time. But I would be interested to see if anyone else would be interest to see it redone.

I teach college English and show this to my class every time. The acting's excellent

Just noticed the stacey248 reply; I usually just click and show the film. But, yeah, I also teach college English and I also show this video every year. Not only is it a good rendition of the story, the seven minute length fits well into the contours of my class. I will show the video for perhaps the tenth time today. And the last; I hit retirement age this year.

Thanks for posting this! Out of all the videos, I like this one the best for its remaining true to the story and intensity/rawness of acting. I'm going to show it to my American Lit class after we analyze the story.

I've watched so many different takes on this classic, and still think yours remain most faithful to the mood in the story. Excellent use of Autumn Leaves in the background too! (which version is this? I'd really love to have the soundtrack!)

This is well acted and very true to the spirit of the original story. i think Papa would have approved. Only one issue, is she wearing different shoes in the final scene to the first scene?

I like the girls performance too, but overall the best adaptation of the Hemingway classic.

That was really well acted, moreso from the girl than the guy though.

+jac23443 I have to agree with you on that. The actor is good, yet the way he expresses this role doesn't resemble to the impression which the man in this story leaves. I can imagine this character as a (young) Clint Eastwood, but perhaps a little less confident, which gets more impatient as the story goes, rather then begging like in this feature. Still enjoyed watching this very much ! Shalom.

Nicely done...an almost perfect imagery of the the story. One thing though, the bartender should be a woman...But, awesome...

it's pretty good. I think I enjoyed it more when I began to accept it as a liberal interpretation and not an exact reproduction of the text. It was interesting non the less.
