@@mathieuforpub2302This garden was never a nightmare. If you heard me in the video, I made a point of doing a daily walk-about to see what needed tending and then it was only a matter of an hour or so to follow through. I never let things get out of control, so maintenance was always easy.

Just beautiful! What kept the mulch from falling in the earlier years when the plants weren’t so close? I have a berm that needs a face lift, not sure how to plant but keep the grass & weeds from growing faster than the plants

@3menandalady Thanks for your lovely comment. When the garden was in its early stages and the plants were more widely spaced, I did have some mulch washing down the hill in a heavy rain, but as the plants filled in, that problem more or less disappeared.
