So many memories when I was growing up on the Big Island. Would rarely take the saddle road back in the early 80's when traveling from Kona to Hilo. It was too bumpy and not well maintained. Now look at!! So modern and nice. I also remember Hawaiian Air landing jets at Kamuela airport. Times have changed.

Hilo has such a great small town laid back vibe 😊. Oahu especially Waikiki and Honolulu reminds me so much of a big city. I could definitely live on Hawaii Island.

It would be a thousand times better if you would do some narration..... I didn't see any gas stations I didn't see any stores for the majority of the ride What if you run out of gas? What if you need to go get some water or use the bathroom? I wish you would narrate it

Aloha. There were no gas stations or stores, and I always prepared before I left. Luckily there's a park (maps.app.goo.gl/xaUWVcar8tSoSxhZA) in between and you can use the restrooms. I like your idea, I will think about the narration. Mahalo.😄🤙❤
