One question, I've been reading in the news that now (for US citizens I guess) when you land in Cancun you no longer have to fill out an immigration form, and they no longer give you an "exit slip" that you have to then hang on to during your trip in order to then show when you're leaving Mexico. Did you have any experience there/what was your experience with customs? Guess I'm not sure exactly when you were travelling!

@@rachelwatson4618 I went in the middle of July. We still needed the exit slips at this time. Keep the exit slips with your passport and you shouldn’t have a problem. I’d check with the immigration websites though to make sure!

I plan to visit here with an adult friend. Not couple. Is there hook inside shower to put towel or clothes ? So put clothes on before walking out to sink area.

That’s the thing! There were no hooks on the shower area. Maybe since they’ve seen the feedback and added them, shouldn’t be that hard either.

I wondered about this myself before going, yes the resort uses filtered water for ice. They def don’t want sick tourists everywhere if they didn’t! If you go downtown or something though don’t drink the ice.

There wasn’t a nightclub, but they had a silent disco some of the nights where everyone wears headphones listening to the same music.

I used Mayan Heaven transfers. Best round trip pricing and they were on time both ways. They pick you up the airport and it was around 15-20 to get to Hilton.

Yes all included! But make reservations early, decide the day you arrive where you want to eat each night you’re there.

It’s a common question and I researched this as well before going. All resort restaurants/bars in the resort will give you filtered water. The ice is safe to drink/eat as well. However don’t drink the water coming out of faucets/shower, you’re gonna spend your vacation on the toilet otherwise. There are water fountains on each floor to fill up your water bottle. I recommend using this water to brush your teeth with as well.

I also never been to a all inclusive so I don’t have high expectations video made me fall in love with the resort I just wanted to know if you think it’s worth the money?

Thanks! Yea I definitely think it’s worth going even without using points. I’ve been to many all inclusive in Cancun and Cabo, and this Hilton is one of the best in terms of food, service, and quality of the grounds.

Haven’t been to Hard Rock, but I also liked the Omni. They have so many pools and the food was great.

The resort is definitely a family/couples resort, not a party atmosphere by the pools.

What’s the app to make restaurant reservations? Can you only make reservations once you’re there?

You can only access the app once you’re checked in. They’ll send you a welcome email with the app link that’ll say “access the web app”

I have never been to one of these so this may come off as a stupid question, and it probably is. But is FOOD and ordering food to the room and all the restaurants are they all free? Are they part of the whole package (i am getting the all inclusive one).

Don’t worry I had the same question before going to my first all inclusive because it’s hard to believe at first, but YES! All food and drinks are included in the price. You can even go to multiple restaurants for dinner like we did. Room service is also included and it was great waking up with tea bread and eggs. I did tip around $5-$10 at dinner and around $1-$2 per drink depending on how hard it was to make. I also tipped $5 for room service. However tipping is up to you, you’re not forced to do it.

They do but you’re better off finding a 3rd party company for your activities. They’ll charge much less than the resort, but they’ll still pick you up at the Hilton.

From what I’ve read only the rooms facing the ocean has the see through bathrooms. The ones facing the garden do not. However check with the hotel or other room videos to confirm.

I wondered this myself before going but it’s safe to drink the cocktails and ice at the resort. They don’t want guests getting sick while staying there so they’re careful about the water. Don’t drink the water/ice in restaurants and bars outside of your resort though!

In terms of price it’s one of the more expensive resorts. Therefore you’ll get mostly older folk, families, and couples that aren’t interested in spring break college style partying.

You can’t download the app to make reservations until you check in the resort. After you check in they’ll send you an email with the link.

There’s no official spa yet, it’s being built as of November 2022, they did have massages in guest rooms decorated as spas on property. You can also book spa treatments at Hilton Canopy downtown and there’s a shuttle that goes there. There will also be a spa at the neighboring Waldorf Cancun.

I would highly recommend to cancel your reservation immediately! My wife and I are here right now and it’s pretty bad. From service to the food and having to make reservations that you can’t always get. The power just went out in the whole resort like 30 minutes ago and still out. We regret booking here and wish we we back to the Dominican Republic Punta Cana secrets cap cana. Accessibility is so bad here. They make you rely on the staff for everything like getting drinks at the buffet. And they take forever to bring your drinks. I finished my food before getting anything to drink. The pools are extremely small for such a massive resort. It honestly makes no sense. Why have a resort that holds so many people yet you can’t accommodate them accordingly. Btw we just got here on Monday will be stuck here for a total of 12 days unfortunately. Wish we could get our money back and switch resorts like switching a phone service. Save yourself the trouble of going here. Also we ordered room service which you will have to wait at least 1hr for it to arrive. It took 2hrs for our order to arrive in addition to the 1 hr. So a total of 3hrs when when it came the order was wrong and they dropped it. So had to wait another 30-40 min for our food. There are so many other things I could talk about. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to stay here!!!!!

It got fixed for Hilton Cancun but it still worked for some of the other all inclusive resorts in Cancun on the Hilton website.
