Hi! I was so grateful to spend 3 weeks on the lovely Hilton Head Island!
I truly loved it so much!
One of my last days there I decided to venture out and view hotels that I had researched in the past to see their location and feel the ambiance.
I filmed it to share with others to help make easier decision making!
I am fortunate enough that I love to research high and low when it comes to travel.
Not everyone does.
Hoping this video will help.
All places were nice and deserving of great success!
I wasn’t dissing any of them if I sounded more enthusiastic about one more than the other.
That was a point in my video.
What I think is exactly that!
It is what I think and feel.
Everyone has their own likes and expectations.
Sometime reading reviews make me insane because I personally can overlook so many things.
It can make you terrified to try somewhere when people smash that 1 star button because of small issues that are minor to me that are huge to them.
Anyway hope this is enjoyable or helpful in some way.
If not no biggie
I know I can’t please everyone.
Just like the hotels!

I actually like to move every week. My home is small, my car is old, I buy my clothes second hand.
I live very simple.
I find comfort and excitement in moving.
We always joke..It’s dirty and we need supplies. Time for a new villa!
I own a 1 bedroom timeshare in Westgate Vacation Villa’s in Orlando Florida.
Over 30 years! I have never used it! LOL
I belong to interval international exchange club and use it excessively!
It wasn’t always like this. There were years I was working full time with 2 babies.
Barely could pay my home bills never mind the maintenance fee every year.
Like everything else in life it was temporary and I find myself now with more freedom.
My babies are grown. When did that happen!?????
The cycle of life baffles me sometimes. So I am here now to enjoy everyday..
EVERY SINGLE DAY!
Hope to inspire people and educate at the same time with how I do this.
I mostly travel in Orlando. I have a daughter living here that works for Universal studios,
But you will find videos from all over the east coast..and some of west coast coming up..
I’m going to VEGAS!!

We stay at Ocean Oak and it’s wonderful. It’s expensive but it’s 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, living room and has in unit laundry. Rates of course change depending on season. Going back in July for 3 nights. Can’t wait.

Such a cool town! Highly recommend it. I loved the off season not sure I would love it there when it’s a 2 hour wait to eat everywhere. So nice to be able to walk in and get seated anywhere we wanted

You did a great job. HHI is our favorite place, ever. We went in October and November of this year, and stayed at Barony Beach Club a Marriott property and it was amazing. We are Marriott Vacation Club owners. Palmetto Sunrise Cafe has the most wonder banana rum pancakes, hash browns, and really fresh fruit. I just cannot stop thinking of that breakfast. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thank you for sharing kept calling for holiday inn express they kept booking me for the palmera finally I got reservations for holiday inn express I need to be close to the beach whereas palmera is 2miles away from beach

Hello 👋 The holiday inn is on the beach the express is not it’s walkable but you have to cross a rd to get there and it’s set back off the rd which is nice for the noise factor but it’s a little further of a walk. Seems like a really nice resort! Enjoy your stay! :)

Very nice review. We own at the Surfwatch and have stayed at the Barony Beach Club and Harbor Point. A few comments: first, the Surfwatch actually has 3 pools, not 2. We had stayed there twice before we realized that they have an indoor pool, in a separate building in back of the big pond. Second, they also have a restaurant, down by the by the beach pool, but it's closed in January and February. You mentioned that the walk from Harbor Point to Shelter Cove Marina was far, but we found it to be only a few hundred yards. We spent a lot of time at Shelter Cove when we stayed there. None of these 3 is on a golf course, but the Barony is very close to the the Port Royal Club, which has 3 courses. The Harbor Point is the only one of the 3 to have tennis courts. Lastly, if you're interested in buying at any of these, Harbor Point is the cheapest (probably because it's the smallest and on the harbor, not on the beach) and the Surfwatch, even though it's newer than the Barony, is cheaper. I'm not sure why, but maybe because the Barony is right on the beach and you have a walk on the boardwalk to get to the beach at the Surfwatch. Of the 3, my favorite is the Surfwatch. I like the scenic beauty of the grounds.

Have you stayed at any of these places I mentioned? Please leave your input! I only walk/ drove through most of them. I didn’t stay there. My purpose of this video was to give my initial thought about their locations and the vibe of these hotel/resorts. They all felt safe enough to recommend. Just because I may have seemed more or less enthusiastic about some more than others doesn’t mean they are necessarily better. Some just had the appeal I look for, everyone is different in their likes so I’m hoping this video helps others find the location and vibe that is good for them! :) Enjoy!

Right across from Coligny is The Breakers. Another time share condo sort of place. We started staying there in 1994 (been there about twenty times now lol. It was my family’s favorite vacation spot) and each room is totally different so some have been renovated and some haven’t but going on Vrbo you can check out each room. Pricing also varies a lot but we love how close it is to everything and the views can’t be beat! Also. How do you tell someone how something is pronounced without being a jerk? Coligny is co as in cooperate, lig as in ligament, and ny as in knee. I don’t know how to make pronunciation marks on KZbin lol. Please don’t hate me. I have watched all your Hilton Head videos (headed there next week for the first time with my kid) and love your real world approach about stuff like the reason people leave one star reviews, so I’ll be watching your other videos and have subscribed. I just had a moment a few videos ago where I was like “how can I tell her how Coligny is pronounced and not sound like a jerk or a goober”.

These business’s work hard and 1 star reviews can really hurt them if people don’t actually read the actual bad reviews and just assume the place is horrible. Also thank you for the resort recommendation! I always love to hear other people’s experiences too. Hello I was there personally in the winter so there weren’t many kids or crowds. Like everywhere try to a avoid weekends holidays and spring breaks. There isn’t a Boardwalk on Hilton head. At least I never found one! I would prefer a Marriott vacation club if I were going for a romantic trip. I particularly loved surf watch it had magic Happy anniversary 😊

Why is it ok for a Time Share to not have housekeeping every day? I have a time share, and it isn't cheap. For the amount of money, we pay for the time share, it should have housekeeping every day. It makes no sense to me?!?

Yea they never had any daily housekeeping in any timeshare I have ever stayed at. Some offer it with a extra fee. The maintenance fees are used on the remodel projects of the properties I suppose. I’m personally ok with it I don’t like anyone in my room lol
