Hilton Taipei Sinban 臺北新板希爾頓

Throwback. This stay-report was taken quite some time ago. Please stay at home and avoid unnecessary trip. Stay safe and healthy
Adjacent to BanQiao (板橋) station, for easy connection to Taipei Metro, High Speed Rail, Taiwan Rail and bus station. Contemporary design guest rooms with almost all the amenities that you need such as hairdryer, mini bar, bathtub and etc. This might not be the perfect choice for travellers as it’s located slightly far from the downtown. If you don’t mind taking trains or metro the the downtown, it’s definitely a good choice to wind down yourself after a tiring day detouring around the city.
In this video, you can see I cover most parts or facilities of the hotel except business or meeting rooms, ballrooms and spa. Swimming pool is not covered as well as it’s still under renovation, which leaves me a great excuse to return to this hotel. Friendly staff and great facilities with user-friendly products. My only complain would be the lighting in the room. I realised that you can’t just turn on the bed lights, leaving the rest of it off. This is very annoying especially if you wish to dim the lightning in the room for your eye comfort at night. The master switch will “off" everything in the room completely.

What a chill and fabulous place to stay. With the current global pandemic and low tourism numbers, it might be nice to take a local trip and stay at a clean/sanitized hotel if the area is safe 🙌💯☕️🧖‍♂️

Tammy Riggs both are great hotels. It's just that DoubleTree Taipei has no swimming pool.
