Hilton Universal Hotel Review, CityWalk, & Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

I used to live 10 min from there and as a teen always went to the CityWalk . There is also a great Italian restaurant close by called Micellis hope I spelled it right. It's like walking back in time. Great food and they occasionally have live music. Hope to see more from your trips to Universal ❤❤

Love Hilton's there nice. The first one I stayed at was in Anaheim by Disneyland. Your room was very roomy. I also liked your bathroom. The window was a neat shape. Loved how you liked the smell of the towel. They are very spendy. But fun to splurge every once in a while.

It isn’t too much of a price difference between that and the Sheraton next door, which is slightly further away. So the Hilton was perfect.

Indeed. They can pretty much charge whatever with only the Sheraton as competition for the walking distance hotels.

Enjoyed your tour of Hilton --- question: I see there are stairs for the path from Hilton to Universal, is there possibly elevator access? Thank you!

There is not. But you can take the sidewalk across the street up the hill and around. So there is access without the use of stairs, but if the climb in general (stairs or hill incline) is the cause for concern, they do have a free shuttle that will drop you off at the top. But if the concern is just stair related, there is wheelchair/stroller access through a different route.

you can cut off a HUGE part of the walk, by going through the convention center. That way you don't have to walk around the building and exit right near the road.

Hey im doing that early entry thing on monday, and we are staying at the Hilton too.. a day before for the Super Nintendo World Early Entry.. Is it still as busy as the first days?

You should check in first. They’ll give you a parking pass/RFID card to get through the gate down into their garage

When going their how much is it to stay at that hotel at the Universal Studios Hollywood resort and does this include the VIP pass and I was wondering 💭 what you guys used to book the day at the Universal Studios Hollywood at the Sheraton hotel 🏨 and does the Sheraton do discounts for Military or Police ? because my brother in law is a Marine so does it depend the day you stay and what’s the website you guys used to book the Sheraton Hotel at Universal Studios Hollywood? @@WyattKahoaliiAiu There are no express passes for staying at Universal Hollywood. That’s a Florida thing. Prices will vary but they were about $300-$350/night when we stayed. Not sure about military discounts. You could call them and ask. That’s probably the best way to find out. Both were fantastic for sleeping. The Hilton is just closer for walking since you don’t have to go up hill.

I believe it’s 4 PM, but honestly you can get there earlier. They’ll probably have a room ready. If not, they’ll keep your bags while you go into the park and can return after check in.

Since you’ve stayed both Hilton and Sheraton. Which is your favorite ?

They’re both about the same price, so the only thing that really set the Hilton apart was being slightly closer and not having to walk uphill (from the Sheraton) which was a bit of a hike. I’d choose the Hilton every time simply for the slightly closer proximity unless the Sheraton is significantly cheaper whenever you’re looking to go.

Very VERY different to hiltons in London lol. They’re over priced and super rough and ugly
