@@heidigi836 I think you can fry it after steaming.. or can resteam it a bit or can microwave.. cause an hour out of steam it hardens so a little heat would do the trick of softening..

@@heidigi836 You can infact re steam it for in himachal we make it in bulk and steam it for a minute or two whenever we want to eat it in that case apply ghee only when you want to eat it. I want to tell you a fact that its actually made up of maida and hence it resembles a lot like momoms.

Nice to see you mam. India is such a diverse country. Food should not be limited to just punjabi, Gujarati, UP, Rajasthani cuisine. There is so much vegetarian food unexplored and not televised specially from north east India, Himachal, Jammu and South Indian food (not just limited to dosa and idli) All vegetarian

I am from Himachal.Hamare ghar me khameer tyar ker Ker ke bhi banate hai.khameer Ko banane ke liye ek katori aate ko dahi me knead kerte hai aur use overnight Rakh lete hai.its a healthy too .

The same recipe is made with slightly different stuffing in U.p & it's called Goitha. Humara desh kitna pyara hai sach kahu toh ek hi jaisa khana milta hai bas naam alag ho jaate hai
