An album to which I always return with the same passion and devotion. Especially this song. Supernatural music just like lyrics. Listening to it as if I’m orbiting the Jupiter. Better said the whole Universe. So encrypted and realistic at the same time.. Adore that “ contradiction”. Sounds so fresh and lovely. Always.

this sounds corny as hell but this band really kept me going when i was really depressed and when i really didn't see a future for myself, i started using drugs and alcohol as "medication" and after abusing both of those became a problem a really good friend of mine took me on a holiday for a week, no drugs no alcohol, hell not even cigarettes, first 3 days were the hardest days of my life.. 4th day we went to a live performance of HIM, it was in a small bar, maybe 25 people were in that night and at the first note they played, i got shivers, started to get really emotional and after just 2 songs i really felt that i had to change every single thing in my life otherwise i wouldn't make it past 23.. the music hit me so hard that evening and still does to this day this band really changed my life a full 180 degrees around.. i quit the drugs, alcohol and the overall toxic lifestyle i was living, only bad habit im still guilty of is smoking cigarettes but at least i live a normal, happy, healthy life.. and all of that.. thanks to this amazing band

Dream Walker when nothing much else in life makes you feel alive and when you're really broken and torn. Then yeah alcohol makes you feel alive for the moment for it numbs whatever hurts. But living that path is pretty much like being lost on a lie. For that feeling of a momentarily joy and relief that comes with being drunk isn't neccesarily real. "Devils dance while angels smile" perhaps not related to being actually drunk on alcohol. But surely something is dancing within when drunk. But I kinda doubt the song is about being drunk on alcohol lol but in a way it could work. For being drunk sort of casts a shadow over you where you no longer are 100% yourself. 'shrugs' 😕
