they sold out after Razorblade Romance...they just did. First and second album were brilliant. Anything they recorded later just wasn´t from the heart, but for the sake of making money or throwing some poses for teenage fans. Anyway, I enjoyed the era of Greatest Lovesongs vol. 666 10 years ago. And there is no doubt, this concert for Overdrive is the best one in their career.

Agreed. I bought my first HIM album back in 2001 based solely on its album art (deep shadows). I liked it. Bought 100 Greatest Love Songs and Razorblades Romance based on that. When Love Metal came out I noticed the ‘commercialisation’ of the music. I didn’t buy any HIM albums after that… I think it might have been a management/record label thing though, because all their B-sides, collaborations and unreleased stuff is way better than any of their subsequent albums. And they keep releasing compilations and remasters, so maybe they just don’t give a fuck and love the money… fair enough, it doesn’t detract from the first two albums.

My first HIM album was Love Metal so it will always be special for me. But I agree with you, their earlier stuff was much darker, heavier and more sincere. Overdrive performances are still my favorite

HIM performs this song much better than the original artist Chris Issac. I really liked the version by HIM when they sang this song in a strip club. Can't watch it anymonre because it has UMG content. Whatever that is. Anyone know?
