+Tumul Singh yes Tumul. I added extra cushion on my seats which is bit comforting. Apart from that I had lot of riding experience so my body somehow used to it. Otherwise people have been warned me that you will get shoulder pain due to offroads as dukes have bad suspension. I made a screenshot of your comment on facebook page on a funnier note. Hope you dont mind. :)

When you halt your motorcycle every time on the edge of the cliff, my heartbeat goes high :P I just noticed a Honda Unicorn in your journey. How well did the machine perform? Did you encounter any major issue or it was a hassle-free ride?

+Iways i haven't faced any issues except for the chains getting dusty. Had to clean everyday. Unicorn performed lot better than the any bike there. Its perfect for any terrain

sirrus13 there is one stretch where no petrol bunk for 375km. Thandi to Upshi i guess. I dint needed while going, but while coming back I had to use it. KTM only has 10 litte tank

Personally I felt the people up in Leh are very very friendly and nice people. I didn't see anyone trying to con us or misbehave. There were lot of foreigners around there and many of them travelling alone so I feel its pretty safe.
