I found this information wayyyy more convincing and scientific towards all the myth as well as hype for the aftermarket filters. Great GTK stuff.

So I recently heard a BMC Employee explain that the BMC filter can filter particles of upto 7 microns thick while paper filters can filter upto 10 microns. He also claimed that the BMC does it while supplying more air. Doesn’t that mean BMC’s are better in raw filtration as well?

Am better sticking with oem paper filter, unless a free flow exhaust a and a remap of ecu. Only changing air filter have negligible difference in my experience.

I feel keeping the stock filter and cutting open a hole in the air filter circular cover gives the best result. I will talk about classic 350 reborn as I own one. Dna claims 88% or something improvement in air flow. They claim if you keep the stock cover of air filter and replace with a DNA filter the improvement is 4% but if you add the filter cover which is sold separately and they charge a premium for a hole in the cover and then with the DNA filter and the cover from them the improvement is 88% or something. Means DNA+ stock cover= 4% better, DNA +Dna filter cover =88%+. WHICH MEANS THE HERO IS THE COVER AND NOT THE FILTER So I just cut a hole through my stock air filter cover and got the desired result of a bit smoother throttle response and happy engine at high revs, nothing much.. What do you have to say about it ?? Also does this affect mileage ? I felt a slight drop in my reborn 350. Also what can i do to improve the bike more ?

lots of half and wrong information. the intake Negstive pressure is too high, there’s no Direct injection, that amount of pressure is negligible compar to engine’s sucking. there’s no space for “dynamic” air. Sir you must improve your knowledge
