I felt the same about the side stand of Himalayan Bulu bhai. I couldn't lift it off the side stand at all as it was tilted on slope too. I ride a TRK 502X and I'm 6 feet, I never faced this with TRK.

Yes, the bike does tilt a little too much for everyone's liking and yes, it does feel a little top heavy when you're taking it off the stand. And Bhai, don't worry about the haters and their stupid comments. Height and weight of any bike can be managed by a skillful rider. Bulu bhai, this issue of petrol leakage was also highlighted on instagram. But there is a easy solution to tackle it- by not filling up-to brim. Even the manufacturers also recommend not to fill fuel completely. And you are right bikes can be ridden by any person if they can handle it properly and ap to kafi experienced hain. Thanks for this video and bringing out the good and bad of the bike.

Thanks Bullu bhai! Based on your feedback, I’ve booked the bike. I think the negatives that you’ve highlighted can be fixed easily (as mentioned by you). Couldn’t find any major negatives. This will be replacing my interceptor. Back in 2021 I was looking forward to buying the Himalayan 411, but the highway capabilities really put me off and hence got the interceptor. I know going from a 2 cylinder back to a single cylinder will be a little bit of a challenge, but the ergonomics/suspension of this new Himalayan is a huge +ve over the int650.

One of the most outstanding aspect of your videos is your attention to details. Like highlighting the wiring issue and exhaust shape and the fuel overflow problem. Indian manufacturers, may it be car or bike or any other product have to change their mentality. Value for money doesn't equate to compromise in quality. Rather charge a few thousand rupees extra and provide the customers with quality components, and most importantly focus on quality check before launching a product for the masses. This problem of fuel overflowing will be faced by almost all the users. When such basic things are overlooked it impacts the ownership experience. Thise used to hassle-free products will have a hard time getting used to these. Excellent video Mr. Patnaik. Wish you happy and hassle-free miles on your Himalayan 450. Kudos 👍

Thanks for an Awesome review! Though I think you could've spoken a little more about suspension in terms of how it performs 2-up, low speed ride, high speed ride. Some reviewers found it plush while others suggest it may be a little stiff for 1-up.

I previously commented on your side stand video about Himalayan 450 because i felt people tend to complain too much. I personally feel when you get use to it you wouldn't feel the weight of the bike because years ago when i wasnt use to riding much it was difficult for me to put a sccoty on center stand i would often get muscle cramps on my leg. But this time on this video i do agree with the headlight, overflow fuel pipe and wire lenght RE should look into those matter. Dont take critics personally sometimes they help you grow. Keep up the good work buddy.

The clutch lever fit and finish seems to be not good across the Himalayan deliveries. Hopefully RE will take notes and make improvements in production. Stock headlights across brands with few exceptions are not adequate not specific to RE

Bhai fuel overflow ka problem toh ek dangerous aur major issue hai oo bhi 3.5L ka bike mai 😵😵😵 , also you are correct about the top heavy nature of this bike , I felt it too and my height is 5.8 , its pretty hard to move the bike from side standing position

I'm planing for a new bike. Earlier I had an Interceptor 650. But it was not comfortable for long rides, though I've made some modifications. Now I'm planing to buy a touring bike. So my question is should I wait for the upcoming TVS Apache RTX310 Or just go for it. I'm not in a hurry to buy a new bike, I just want a comfortable touring bike with a reliable service.
