Joe, from the land of wonder, I have thoroughly enjoyed your travels here, and do hate to see it end, Joe, those cows, holy cow, I know there sacred and all but, Joe on your videos is it me or is what I’m really seeing is real, many of those roads look so hazardous and when your showing you rolling it just looks like you are really moving, was not sure if it was the camera or if you were really going that fast. The scenery there is like no other, guess you will be heading home soon if your not already there. Many thanks Joe for sharing with us all, You are what adventure riding is all about. Thank you, Rob U.S.

It's great to hear you enjoyed the series Rob, it was a lot of fun in an incredible area. You can sometimes get a glimpse of the speedo, most of the time I am under 60kph as that is the speed limit until you get onto major roads. The camera does make it look fast then it is. Another excellent video in a fascinating series. Will you be doing a review of the Himalayan? Clearly it has a fair bit more performance than your 411. Will you swap out your 411 for a 450 back in Oz?

@ Thanks for replying. It’s hard to go past the price of a low km 411. It has served you pretty well so far. I am tempted to get one myself, even though the 450 seems to be a big leap forward in performance.

But all those roads turning to tarmac are going to take away something from the overall spirit of adventure that the likes of Elspeth Beard experienced back in the 1980's. I'm sure those roads are only going to get busier in the future. Take care mate and I look forward to future videos. 👍☘

Thank you Joe for your kind reply. Can I ask you how tough was the journey around LEH. ??it looked tough going.
@freewayprojectКүн бұрын
@@Sweens-o9l I didn't find it tough. It helps if you have ridden off road. I am used to riding long distances, you have to coming from Australia, but you could ride less each day and would make the riding a lot easier. I also choose to find more dirt tracks, you can ride a lot on sealed roads and well maintain gravel tracks.

Joe, mate.... what an epic adventure. Been checking daily for my next fix of this, gutted coming to an end. Starting now to work through your back catalogue. Really looking forward to you video on the Himalayan 452 as looking to but one for solo, slow paced long distance travel. Be really interested in manageability in the more technical terrain, not to fly through it, just about getting through it without major incident. Like on your trip, most of my terrain on my trip will be dirt roads, fire trails, etc. but inevitably, on a long trip, (just as you did on this trip) you will encounter sections with water crossings, rocky stretches etc. I am most interested in how manageable and confidence inspiring the bike is in those conditions (as well as picking it up if it does hit the deck). Anyhow, really enjoyed the series mate, and the photos etc. are sublime.... I may well make a purchase or two in support. 👍
