Alano Morito Yea, it will play 2K and 4K. I don't have a 4K TV for testing, but it works playing mkv in size of few gigs. The hardware can Handel it very well. its a high level product, I don't review junk :)

Try installing kodi. It Should work, if it doesn't work, then kodi doesn't support those formats. You can try installing video player from Google play store such as VLC or bsplayer.

Hello, good review. I can't decide whether I should get this one, or a Zidoo X9S. The most important thing for me is that it should be able to play 3D Iso files with the menu and with no problems. It should also give me a good Netflix experience. And the internal HDD bay on Himedia is a plus for me. Which one of these two TV boxes would you prefer for me?

In terms of software support and updates, Himedia is best.They keep updating the firmware every few months. I think that in 3D ISO playback this box Its also stronger. The Hardware is more expensive vs Realtek, but still worth the quality.

Thanks for the quick answer man. I am warmer to this device as well. But most people say that Zidoo has the best picture quality. Do either of these devices lag playing 4K videos?

Yiir welcome.X9S I didn't test so I can't tell you. Himedia box plays 4K very well. It depends on the bit rate of the specific video file your playing, It its complex to know which is better without any hand on testing. lately I am less focused on TV boxes. For me also 1080P is enough :).

why. video isn't ok with 4k TV? I recommend that you update the latest firmware.
