Thanks for the video Dean. I just got my bike and I'm having issues installing the front wheel, the fork doesn't seem to fit and I don't want to apply too much force. I'm wondering if you ran into the same issue?

Tony's Wings - Hi Tony, Getting the front wheel situated was probably the hardest part. I was doing it by myself too. You just have to be careful to not bend the disk that goes into the brake assembly. I had to loosen the wheel again after I got it initially assembled and re-seat it to get the disk to stop rubbing the brake pad. You might have to do that once it’s put together. Good luck in your assembly. Mine is perfect now!

@@ncaverync Thanks Dean, unfortunately the forks on my new bike came unaligned! There is nothing I can do to fix it, I contacted Himiway and I'm waiting for them to give me a solution, not exactly what I was hoping for after waiting so long to get the bike. It puts to questions their quality control, it's such an obvious thing to identify before it ships. I'm hoping for a positive outcome here.

Charlie Arehart Highly unlikely! Those front forks are solid, and the way they were misaligned it was definitely a factory defect. I brought the bike to a local bike shop and they were also in shock by the misalignment. I’ve been in contact with Himiway, they have shipped new front forks, once I receive them I will take them to the bike shop so they can install it, Himiway has agreed to reimburse me for the front fork assembly cost once the bike is complete. I’ll keep you (and readers posted)!

Took Me three mo to get Mine ! Took one more for bike shop to assemble it :( It came with broken tail light bracket . I Jerry Rigged bracket , so I could ride it till it can be replaced . Now bike has 5 whole mi on it ( went into hospital wk I got bike home ) . Have You found a " U " lock that will EASILY Lock rear wheel to frame ? So far I haven't ! IF You DO find one GOOD LUCK finding some place on the FRAME to carry it !!!! I have the step through , Your frame may be different . Let Me know if You find a high security lock , where You got it , what it is ( brand etc ) & how much $$$ IF I find one , I'LL do the same .

Hey Mad Boy! That “L” shaped thing is not used at all. Some people have tried using it to mount the headlight higher on the front fender, but it will eventually break. You don’t need to do anything with it. There are lots of jokes in the Himiway community about it. Somebody even had some T-shirts printed with the L-bracket on it! Lol

Dean - love your videos - got my Himiway 8/13-getting used to it. Could you do a video on what settings you would suggest for peddle assist & shifter - not sure how to set them together I am 81 & 275 lbs Higher shifter # harder to peddle ? same with peddle assist ?

The fork adjustments are turned by hand. No cable adjustment.

I'm waiting,,,,,, first of September. I was looking for the lock out on the forks. Is there a cable for it or does it need to be turned by hand
